I realized something was missing. I pushed through each day knowing something was not quite right. I lost something. That something was me.
Geographically you can almost always find where you need to be. A GPS, phone, or a nice human can help you get to your desired location. There may be unusually heavy traffic, slow downs or detours, but you get there. Navigating yourself...well, it's not always that simple. We don't come with maps and grids. Yet, we still deal with slowdowns, wrecks, detours, traffic and construction in our lives. When I realized that somewhere along the way I left Amber somewhere, I set out to find her. She was there, all along waiting to be who she was created to be, not the person she had become.
